What platforms are supported?
Clipnest supports public media links from Instagram, Facebook, and Threads when the platform makes the media openly available. Not every public post exposes a downloadable file.
Can I download video or extract only audio?
Yes. Choose Video for an MP4, or Audio for a 192 kbps MP3. Audio extraction needs a source that contains an audio track.
Can I trim the media before downloading?
Yes. After processing, choose Trim, adjust the start and end handles, and preview your selection. Generate a new trimmed file when you are happy with it.
Where are downloaded files stored on iPhone?
Safari usually saves downloads to the Downloads folder in Files. For compatible videos, open the Share Sheet and choose Save Video when that option is available. Clipnest cannot save directly to Photos.
How long are processed files kept?
Files are accessible for 30 minutes. Expired files are deleted by scheduled cleanup. Download your files before their temporary links expire.
Why can’t some links be processed?
Private, login-only, expired, region-restricted, or protected content cannot be processed. Platforms may also limit public access. Clipnest never bypasses login, DRM, paywalls, or platform access controls.
